Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

The general structure of any URI is

service://username:[email protected]

The question is:

How to enter the "windows-domain" into the username?

The next not works (at least for me), so asking a correct syntax:

service://domain\username:[email protected]
service://domain\\username:[email protected]

My VNC client accepts the next URI:

vnc://user:[email protected]

but need add the windows-domain somewhat...
