I would like to save the videoclip from Internet, for instance from youtube etc., and wanna save it in my computer with high quality.

How should I do it in order to save these internet video clip in my computer? What recommended tool can you give?

There are so many applications, user scripts, websites, that were made for downloading videos. Please show what you've already found and why it didn't work for you—basically, you're expected to do a little research before asking. –  slhck Jul 17 '13 at 20:10

jwz's youtubedown script has worked well for me in the recent past. Pass it a URL and it will download the given .mp4; it has a few other options, which are detailed in the script's prefatory comments.
