I have troubles getting Windows 7 to access the internet on a certain network interface.

I have a machine with 2 twin port NICs (4 ports in total). Windows Pro x64 is installed from scratch with only one port active (so that it can be the default route port).

Trouble is, whenever I hook up 2 other ports for pfSense (under Virtualbox), Windows machine cannot access the internet any longer.

I reinstalled. Twice. I upped the metric on a that one port that was active at time of install to 2000. All other machines on the network can access the internet fine (meaning pfSense routes OK). Only Windows host itself is affected.

All network connections on Windows machine are private.

I can't think of anything else. Please help!
