I am working on theming my computer, and to do so, I would like to change my default folder icon. I have done this through changing the default folder in the windows icon registry, and it worked fine; though, for the custom folder icon to show, i must disable icon thumbnails in the folder preferences of windows, but at the cost of also disabling image previews for .JPGs or .PNGs, and video previews for .MKV files, and same with other filetypes that can have previews. As someone who works with graphics a lot, these previews are extremely useful, to view an image before importing it into photoshop, for example. the bellow images are what im talking about-

thumbnails disabled, so the custom folder icon shows, but instead of a file preview the filetype image displays instead

(above) thumbnails disabled, so the custom folder icon shows, but instead of a file preview the filetype image displays instead

thumbnails enabled, so the custom folder icon doesnt show, but file previews do show

(above)thumbnails enabled, so the custom folder icon doesnt show, but file previews do show

is there any way around this where i can have both the custom folder icon enabled but also have thumbnail previews for my files?
