I am using the free version of nomachine nx to log into a RHEL 5 (gnome) computer I have. Every once and a while, the menu bar at the top (containing applications, application shortcuts, etc.) will freeze up and will not let me click on anything! All current windows that are open still function as normal and the desktop is still functional. If I disconnect to the session and then reconnect, the top menu bar is blank except for the date, volume control and Bluetooth icon showing. If I terminate the session and then create a new session, the menu bar is back and functional. Is there a way to "restart" the menu bar or somehow get it back to working order?
