Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I need an XHTML validator that has the following features:

  • Able to run via command line (Windows) or batch script.
  • Ability to validate an entire website (with hundreds of thousands of files)
  • Reporting feature (html, text or some form of output that tells me what is not valid)

I do not care if the tool costs $$, I just need to know if there is something out there that meets those requirements.

I plan on including this validator into a cruise control (continuous integration server) build so I need to be able to include it into a batch file of some sort.

Any suggestions?
