I have set a LAN connection between two of my computers, they do connect to the internet, however if I wanted to go online on both at the same time, one would get stuck. My modem is a 'all-in-one' device (so it's a modem + router), but it had only one ethernet port, so I bought a router, connected the modem to the newly bought router, and the two other computers to this router. I believe this problem might be caused by some internal IP conflict since I didn't alter the IPs on the LAN connection properties, but still I think the computers might be able to get them automatically.
