Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

CentOS 6, latest openSSH, using latest scponly as shell (also have rssh, but that doesn't want to work either)

All chroot'ing functionality done via sshd_conf

Everything works as expected except one small bit.

I have the users chroot set to /home

When they login they are dropped directly into /home instead of their users directory INSIDE /home (ie, /home/foo)

Is it possible to have them login via SFTP into their individual directories, and be able to cd .. up into /home to be able to browse other users folders (which is the point of this whole endeavor).
