I have installed outlook connector 12.1 for synchronizing my tasks, calender etc with live..

I tired with @live.com account and it works ...

But i also have a myname@mydomain.com which i use for all live services like MESH, Windows messenger which works perfectly but i can't get it to work with outlook connector..

I add my email (live ID) to connection (myname@mydoamin.com) and of course its not going to work with email as its my OWN email.... but the calender and tasks don't work..

is this possible?

here is the error message i get

That's the way it's supposed to work... The Outlook Connector synchronizes your e-mail and calendar with the e-mail and calendar stored on the Live servers (which is why it works with your @live.com account). When you are using yourname@yourhost.com, you do not have a corresponding e-mail and calendar on the Live servers, which is why it does not work.

As far as Live ID/Passport is concerned, your personal account is just used for authentication (which is why it works for mesh and whatnot). Without a hotmail/live account, there is nothing to sync. If you want to sync with e-mail and calendar using the Outlook Connector, you have to have an @hotmail.com or @live.com account.
