I have Ubuntu Linux guest running on a Windows 7 host using Virtualbox.

I am wondering if I can remotely access the application from Windows 7 on my ubuntu install and not show up on the windows 7 host and only appear on Ubuntu. I know terminal services can do this but I am using Windows 7 ultimate and it does not include it.

Would installing and x server on windows 7 like Mingw/Cygwin and SSH work like it does while in linux?

Can anyone guide me in the right direction?
