I've been trying to get a BIOS update for the QDI KVM400M V2.0 motherboard (low-end desktop for the AMD processor), but as far as I can tell, the support site (www.qdigrp.com) is now host solely to malware and such.

Does anyone know where I can get an updated BIOS for this motherboard? Or should I just give up and make it walk the plank?

QDI was a division of Legend Holdings, a Chinese business. It was renamed Lenovo.

I would say the QDI brand is dead. There is no match for it under the Lenovo web site and as you've noticed the prior web site has been hacked and unmaintained for many months.

Edit:

I've found more info: http://www.pc.ibm.com/ww/lenovo/pdf/03_04/F110.pdf

On page 14 it shows the sale of assets of QDI Holdings Ltd to Swift Glory.

The only other references I can find are to QDI as a contract manufacturing division of Lenovo. In other words, there is still a unit called QDI, but it doesn't do what it used to do.
