I am on a embedded System using Linaro 12.10, which is basiclly a ubutu for arm. It works fine and I see the Boot on a serial Console:

Starting kernel ...

Booting Linux on physical CPU 0x0
Linux version 3.8.13-ga6ab43a-dirty (systemc@systemc-VirtualBox) (gcc version 4.7.1 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.7.1-5ubuntu1~ppa1) ) #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 14 10:18:51 CEST 2013
CPU: ARMv7 Processor [413fc090] revision 0 (ARMv7), cr=18c5387d
Welcome to Linaro 12.11 (GNU/Linux 3.8.13-ga6ab43a-dirty armv7l)

Meanwhile upstart is booting the services like bluetooth and outputs this to a VGA port, where later a the graphic user login is. Now I normally don't have a monitor connected since I'm using the serial console or XRDP to connect graphically to the machine, but still would like to see the upstart output on the Serial Console. Any hints how to achive this?
