We (my company) have purchased a Surface Pro device to showcase our application as a tablet version. The app is run using an InstallShield installation process.
The installation was tested and verified on Win 7 / Win8 machines (PCs) but never on a tablet, so, when we tried installing the application on the tablet today, we got a Microsoft exception (Error number 0x80040702) saying that a certain DLL (that is packed inside a CAB file) was unable to be loaded. I tried running the installation with compatibility with Windows 7 and even XP, but without any luck.
Does anyone know why this might happen and what could be a valid approach in trying to fix this?
