I have a Dell Inspiron N5010, Intel i5, 8GB RAM that is currently running Windows 8 x86 and I want to install the x64 version of Windows 8 but when I boot from the USB drive (or even DVD media) the Windows logo is shown for few seconds and then the blue screen of death appears with no real usable code, message or anything. This works on other laptops so I know that the installation media isn't corrupt.

What should I do to make my laptop boot from something? Maybe it is from Windows 8, but how to format my Windows 8 partition if I can't enter the setup from boot?
