I Have been experiencing an extremely annoying problem with my copy of Photoshop CS6 Extended as of late- I also experienced it in the past, however, not nearly as often. Essentially what happens is, at random moments while using Photoshop, a browser window will open with about 30 to 60 tabs of the Adobe Help Center, each displaying some basic information on how to use photoshop- sometimes crashing my browser, and if not, seriously lagging my computer. To prevent this, I put up a block for all of my adobe products in the firewall, but instead of actually ceasing the opening of such irritating help windows, it instead opens swaths of notifications saying "Adobe Photoshop CS6 Could not open the adobe help center" or something along those lines, and then proceeds to crash.

No idea why this error may be occurring so often all of a sudden- its happened a good 5 times within the last hour. As far as my using it, this error does not occur with Adobe Photoshop CC

Sounds like a virus. – Kris Hollenbeck Aug 26 '13 at 21:20
I have no idea why someone would develop a virus that effects a single piece of software to open up websites at random moments, and nothing else. – Ben Franchuk Oct 2 '13 at 23:47
