Just wishful thinking, but is there anyway to access my Windows XP work from home desktop computer with my Vista laptop so I can remote control the desktop from my laptop, and here's the kicker, without my work knowing that I'm doing that? I use logmein free software to access my other home computers from my laptop and can remote control them, but it requires logmein to be installed on the laptop and desktop computers and runs an active icon at the bottom of the screen at all times.

If the sysadmin at your work is competent there is no way you'll be able to accomplish this without the admin knowing. Have you tried asking them if there is a supported way for you to work at home? |
