To add a shortcut to the gnome-panel, i simply execute this command.

/usr/libexec/gnome-panel-add --launcher="/usr/share/applications/firefox.desktop" --panel="2" --position=0

very simple, inside the firefox.desktop file all i have is this:

[Desktop Entry]
Exec=firefox
Type=Application
Icon=/root/svg/firefox.svg

very basic.

but how can i remove this shortcut via terminal command ?

because as of right now, if i try to excecute the command again, it adds another shortcut to the panel. i need to remove 1 before i add one.
