Any information you give me would be greatly appreciated.

I bought my notebook second hand. There isn't a hidden partition on the drive. I know there are tools like Norton Ghost/Acronis, but I would really like to fix my problem.

I tried Samsung Recovery Solution 5, and it tells me there isn't a recovery partition. Is there a way I can repair/recreate this partition? I can then follow the instructions from another guys post where he imported his own image files.

So basically:

  1. I would like to create the partition that Samsung recovery solution is looking for
  2. I'd like to then make my recovery files
  3. I'd like the f4 recovery to work

If the previous owner deleted the recovery partition there isn't a great deal you can do. You can contact Samsung for solutions to your problem. The format the samsung recovery solution is looking for could be any format, and unless its documented, going to be very tough to create a new one. – Ramhound Sep 11 '13 at 11:55
