I cannot change any setting on ubuntu Firstly, I accidentally change the /usr/bin permission on 777 my sudo command stopped working

I change the permission back using this Changed the permissions on /usr/bin

To change permission I did mount -o remount,rw / the change the folder permission back to 755 and got the sudo to work vai chmod 4755 /usr/bib/sudo

However when I log in to Ubuntu I do not see the wireless Icon on top right corner. Also I cannot change the volume as it is greyed out/disable

When I try to shut-down Ubuntu it ask for log off option

Also when I try to manually add wifi-network all the box are greyed out/disable
