Centos 5.9 64 bit on Raid 1 using mdadm.
We have been trying for almost 2 days now to get this back going and have exhausted the resources and our minds on it, I would be glad if somone would point us out in the right direction.
Boot Error is the following:
Red Hat nash version 22.214.171.124 starting EXT3-fs: unable to read superblock mount: error mounting /dev/root on /sysroot as ext3: invalid argument setuproot: moving /root failed: No such file or directory setuproot: error mounting /proc: No such file or directory setuproot: error mounting /sys: No such file or directory switchroot: mount failed: no such file or directory Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Booting the system using a RescueCD boots flawlessly, so the problem is with the Kernel and initrd. We have updated kernels and used previous ones, still no luck. The only Idea I have left at the moment is generate a new initrd with parameters since we did generate a new one but no luck.
