I have a laptop (OS - Vista), desktop (OS - Win7), and router (netgear) The network that the desktop is currently connected to was removed from Manage Wireless Networks on the laptop. On the desktop in 'Network and Sharing Center' when I select 'Connect to a network' only the current connection information is returned (which is for the profile that was removed). The newly created profile in Manage Wireless Networks on the laptop is not displaying, When I select the Connect or disconnect link in the 'View your active networks' area only the current connection information is returned. I verified that the WLANSVC is set to start automatically. It appears as though the current network that is selected no the desktop but no longer exists is stuck.
