I wanted to change my Debian to testing, but lilo was not booting my usb although setting was set to be usb as first booting option, then I installed grub (as it has more options and more advanced) but i am not sure if it was set to boot loader or not, and removed lilo, now the system stops right after turning it on (saying: LILO - keytable read/checksum error), as lilo is removed and there is no boot loader. any chance I can reset something in bios and boot the usb? what else i can possibly do

Welcome to Superuser, Do you have a way of accessing your boot menu? –  50-3 Sep 19 '13 at 7:51
