I'm launching chrome, using a shell script in an app window. I use Automator to run this shell script, and create a .app bundle with the result.
When it launches it creates a separate chrome window as well, which means on the dock, there are 2 icons; the icon for the app and another icon for chrome.
Is there an easy way to hook them up into the same icon and be able to keep the icon for the app I'm using, so it's easy to differentiate between that and the version of chrome I use for normal browsing?
Thanks in advance, and for anyone interested, below is the shell script code I'm using.
#!/bin/bash /Applications/Google\ Chrome.app/Contents/MacOS/Google\ Chrome --user-data-dir=~/Library/Application\ Support/Google/Chrome/Default/ --app="my website"
