I have been trying to get my dual boot working for my laptop.

What I did :

  • Installed Fedora 19 on the same HDD than Windows7
  • Booted up Fedora and forced the installation of GRUB2 into the boot partition
  • Loaded W7 and used easyBCD to add Fedora to the boot list and wrote the MBR

And it doesn't work, after I do that and I reboot it automatically loads W7 like there are no linux partition and if I use easyBCD again it "reverted" the modifications I made to include the Fedora partition in the boot list.

Does anyone know what could cause this to happen or if I'm missing something?
