Hi Debra, I'm using these steps from "In Outlook, on the File menu, click Import and Export. Click Export to a file, and then click Next. Click Microsoft Excel, and then click Next. In the folder list, click the Contacts folder, and then click Next. Browse to the folder where you want to save the contacts as an Excel file (.xls). Type a name for the exported file, and then click OK. Click Next. To add or remove fields to determine the way the contact information is saved in the new Excel worksheet, click Map Custom Fields. Click Finish." – Chris Oct 16 '13 at 20:26
I've tried changing the fields that are mapped on export, but the email data that is exported remains unchanged. – Chris Oct 16 '13 at 20:30
Try this, as a quick test - in the dialog for Map Custom Fields. clear everything on the right, then drag over only first name, last name, and expand (click +) next to Email and choose just the email address. Does that get you the right data? What you're showing looks a bit like exporting a distribution list or group. – Debra Oct 16 '13 at 22:19
