below command is used in loop to take snapshot in my program ffmpeg.exe -ss 720 -i WIn_0_0.wmv -vframes 1 -vf "[in]drawtext=fontsize=18:fontcolor=Red:fontfile='/Windows/Fonts/arial.ttf':text='0\:12\:0':x=(w)-75:y=(h)-20" WIn_0_0_60.jpg

above code takes the snapshot at 00 seconds. ON running them in loop some time i get image like below one linktoimage

is there any solution to solve this. as i am taking 3600 snapshot in 1 hr . i see around 20 to 30 snapshot of above pattern. so final thumbnail is not looking good

please find the ffmpeg console messgae

ffmpeg.exe -ss 720 -i WIn_0_0.wmv -vframes 1 -vf "[in]drawtext=fontsize=18:fontcolor=Red:fontfile='/Windows/Fonts/arial.ttf':text='0\:12\:0':x=(w)-75:y=(h)-20" WIn_0_0_60.jpg

Although it may be slower, does it make a normal looking image if you move -ss 720 after -i WIn_0_0.wmv? I may be forgetting some recent commit that may have changed this behavior... –  LordNeckbeard Oct 17 '13 at 17:52

@LordNeckbeard thanks. yes although your suggestion solving my problem. it does not suit my requirement as it is very slow compared to other one. i need to take 3600 snapshot in one hour . –  RamKumar Oct 18 '13 at 4:33
