Windows 8.1 upgrade does not boot. PC can only run in safe mode which has limited capacity to uninstall ai sweet and its components or other drivers associated with asus z77 motherboard. Possibly other drivers causing this issue. How to fix? Perhaps uninstall some drivers, but how? Others reported usb 3.0 driver conflict, but disabled in bios, but can't uninstall driver. Looks like the uninstall utility maybe partly corrupted. All that pc does is boot to blamk screen, but it looks like win 8.1 did install when in safe mode. Please help. Very much appreciate it. Thanks

Have you've been to device manager in safe mode? Also, Event Viewer should be able to give you enough information to isolate the cause –  Rudolph Oct 25 '13 at 8:38
