Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have many laptops linked together through a wireless net.

The access to every laptop is granted by a domain controller, installed on a windows server 2003.

My problem is that every time that a user logon, for the first time, in a laptop, the auto-configuration for this 'new' (he's new only for that particular machine) user set up an old (and wrong) proxy ip address.

I've tried to change some key in register, like ProxyServer and ProxyEnable, but nothings works.

Have you any ideas?!

Do you know any way to set up a proxy ip address for all users that logon into a particular machine?! I've tried to set up the proxy from local admin account, but it doesn't work
