I am running CentOS 6.4 on my home box. From day 1 I noticed that the cursor keys are not mapped to the keys in the numeric keypad. This is how things work in Windows.

I found out that the cursor keys are assigned to the group of 6 keys sitting between the PC keyboard and the numeric keypad. However, the location of these keys are uncomfortable to me, so I never use them. I searched the Internet high and low but just can't seem to find a solution.

How can I assign the cursor keys in the group of 6 keys between the PC keyboard and the numeric keypad to the keys in the numeric keypad?
