What would cause my router to list the internet connection status as "not connected" even though my connection is functioning normally?

I have access to the internet as well as all devices on my network, but for some reason the router control dashboard says the router is "not connected." At first I was worried about an ARP spoofing attack but I looked into it with WireShark and everything checked out. I've tried power cycles and all the rudimentary fixes.

What other than a firmware bug could be causing this?
