I have a MSI laptop, and using Windows 7, my sensor is not working so I bought a new USB mouse for a month it was working good but now whenever I connect it in any of my laptop ports, it automatically shuts down. I have 3 ports and I check them using flash drive, mobile charger etc everything is working but whenever I connect USB mouse it shut down?

Have you tried a different USB mouse? This could be a driver or hardware problem. The secondary hardware will prove which one it is. – Ramhound Nov 12 '13 at 12:58
I've read about similar issues and it's typically ended up being the mouse. Can you try another mouse? – Pretzel Nov 12 '13 at 13:55
Can you try the mouse in a second laptop? Can you borrow a different mouse from someone to try in your current laptop? – root Nov 12 '13 at 14:18
