I have fast machine with SSDs and when the low battery notification for 10% etc pops up, I don't always see it if I'm working in a full screen RDP Session.

I've set my PC to hibernate on low battery, but I want to avoid this as the hibernation is wearing out the SSDs and some of the RDP session managers I use don't behave well with hibernation and need a reboot to work again (Citrix XenApp client I'm looking at you!). What I'd prefer is to be able to see notification and make an appropriate decision as to what I want/need to do.

I don't mind if this done via a third party app.

I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro 64
