I've been having this problem for months now and I can't stand it. I get disconnected mid-game all the time. I'm using a switch for extended signal but it's the same thing whether I use it or not. It happens in intervals of 5-20 minutes. I've tried:

  • Another cable
  • Factory reset on the router
  • Updated network card drivers
  • Direct link a cable from computer to router
  • Restarting the router 1000x times
  • The router at my dad's and it works fine so its not my card (it's brand new)
  • Disabling IPv6
  • Disabling Tunneling Pseudo-Interface
  • Disconnecting all other units
  • Putting my computer as DMZ host

Still, nothing works. Here's the log from ipconfig/all when it disconnected

C:\Users\SeiKun>ipconfig/all

it is as likely as not that the service (the game) is the culprit, but you may want to check your network for duplicate MAC or IP addresses. if device with a conflicting address is coming online, that can cause your network to freak out. have you tried a different router? –  Frank Thomas Nov 30 '13 at 22:59
