I am looking to get a Linux machine that is running Samba and is joined to an Active Directory domain authenticated to a FreeRADIUS server using its machine account. It is possible on Windows, choosing MSCHAPv2 and selecting 'Use computer authentication', but I need to get a Linux machine doing the same thing.

Although the server side seems relatively straight forward due to the extensive documentation, I cannot find any guides to getting a Linux client to authenticate over RADIUS using its Samba machine account (which contains the same information as a Windows counterpart). Any ideas?
