I use KVM to host vm (ubuntu). Then I started vnc4server on the vm.

The content of ~/.vnc/xstartup is shown below. gnome-terminal in vnc does not show the prompt and doesn't accept any keyboard input. Does anybody see similar problems?

The same set up on a non virtual machine does not have the same problem. So the problem should be related with visualization.

I injected some commands in my ~/.bashrc, which shows that ./bashrc is correctly loaded. Therefore, gnome-terminal must somehow hang after loading bash. Does anybody know how to debug the cause of this problem.
