Google Chrome for Windows come with its own PDF viewer, but I prefer the better functionality of Adobe's own PDF viewer plugin.

The problem is, it keeps crashing. The problem is not unique to me, as I've seen others complain about it on the internet. (for example, see https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=166614 or see the comments section of http://blogs.adobe.com/acrolaw/2011/12/get-reader-or-acrobat-to-work-in-chrome-compact-pdf-output-from-chrome/) Yet, no solution can be found on the internet.

Is there a Chrome guru who can lend help here?
