Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Go to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Passwords and forms -> Managed saved passwords. Click on one of the saved passwords and click "show". It just shows it. What's the point of hiding it on web forms then? Is there a way to secure my passwords so people can't just jump on my Mac and grab them? Keychain Access asks for your admin password to show saved passwords, that seems like common sense.
