How does one fix this issue on a Windows 7 machine? I have three mice inputs actually. The new mouse with the high dpi, the touchpad, and the Thinkpad trackpoint. If I bring up the dpi on the (ext) mouse and reduce the Windows 7 sensitivity, I get a good balance of "speed" on my mouse. However, this reduces movement to nill on the other 2 inputs.

The mouse is a g400s by Logitech.

Side note: I heard that raising DPI and lowering sensitivity gives better precision.
