How is the buffer cache managed in openvz?

What happens if

a) a guest is low on memory, the host is not. A process allocates an amount of memory. Now something is evicted from the buffer cache on the guest. Will the host also evict what the guest evicted?

b) the host is oversubscribed on memory. Guest A allocates some memory, the amount is available in guest A. The amount was marked as 'free' to the guest. The host does not have the amount available. Guest B allocated a lot of memory as buffer cache. What is evicted.

If you know another scenario that might be interesting feel free to add it.
