I am currently trying to run rtmpsuck which is a transparent proxy on Mac OS X, however it doesn't seem there has been much luck getting it to work in the past. In the README it suggests to use ipfw and gives a command that they should work. However with ipfw being deprecated and it not working I am currently trying to use PF inorder to redirect traffic.

Using the IceFloor software for configuring the PF firewall I add the following command

enter image description here

I then run the following command in a terminal window

>sudo rtmpsuck

RTMPSuck launches but detects now traffic even when I launch a browser and go to a site that uses RTMP (not RTMPE etc).

I tried viewing the PF log file on Mavericks with the following commands (none of them working)

tcpdump -n -e -ttt -i pflog0
clear; sudo /usr/sbin/tcpdump -lnettti pflog0
tcpdump -n -e -ttt -r /var/log/pflog
