I was looking for a WiFi enabled palmtop tablet with Android (to replace this indecent tablet I bought just one week ago from a well known trendy company). At the moment, I see a lot of phones, and the only tablet is the Archos 5, which is not available yet. Am I missing something ? Please note: no phones. Just tablets. And no Nokia. I'd love Nokia, but it's not available here.

Other tablet style Android devices include the Barnes & Noble Nook (which is officially locked down to being just an eBook reader, but has recently been rooted which should mean that full Android functionality could be enabled soon). Dell are supposed to be launching an Android based at CES next year. Also Innovative Converged Devices have announced the Android 2.0 based Vega tablet. There are also rumours that Creative (via their ZiiLabs brand) could be releasing an Android tablet (along with the Android based Zii phone that's already been announced). |
