I have been recently porting a Linux application to Windows and have been quite successful in running the application.

To analyze the performance of the the application, I found that resource monitor is quite useful in detecting the memory usage / disk usage etc.

Now I need to find the FD usage in the system.

Is there a specific tool or a good way to monitor FD usage in the system?

What do you mean by FD usage? Perhaps lsof is what you need. –  Cristian Ciupitu Jun 4 '14 at 14:14
