What are some good options for download managers (extensions preferably) that are freeware for Google Chrome? Integration with Chrome is my main objective

Thanks for your help

when i tried to enable the chrome monitor, it said it couldn't find the Google Chrome plugins folder.. – nrhine1 Nov 17 at 4:52
I can select the folder manually. I tried setting it to where google is installed, to no avail. what directory should I specify? – nrhine1 Nov 17 at 21:43
Which channel of Google Chrome are you using ? (ie, stable, beta, dev ?) I have the dev channel, and as soon as I click, FDM takes over, and no - I wasn't asked to select the directory. Try pointing the directory to C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Plugins – Sathya Nov 17 at 23:59
checked the about. looks like i have 4.0.249.0. the newest Dev. I tried navigating to the folder you suggested. I can get to C:\ ... \Google\Chrome\ but there is no Plugins folder, hidden or unhidden. – nrhine1 Nov 18 at 17:08
That's really strange. I have the same version, and works fine here. Perhaps you can try reinstalling both Chrome as well as FDM ? – Sathya Nov 18 at 17:24
