My Windows 7 machine has dual monitor setup and it works well. Recently I replaced the primary monitor from 23 inch to 24 inch. Then comes an issue: when I connect to the machine using Windows' Remote Desktop Connection, I cannot see the running application icons at the task bar.

I can see the task bar fine, but all it has are the quick-launch icons. If I press Alt-Tab, I can see the running applications and switch from there.

Any suggestion how to fix this?

Post-Script I figured it out - I use a software called MultiMon Taskbar which fakes a taskbar at the secondary monitor to show the applications at that monitor. I closed MultiMon Taskbar and restart the machine. Now everything is fine.

Then comes another question - is there another free multi monitor taskbar simulation software working well on Windows 7?
