Possible Duplicate:
What’s a good custom pc builder in the USA?

I just moved to the USA from London, UK.

I'm looking for a good custom computer builder.

A shop that sells its own pre-configured units is a plus.

(For the record, I am not a vendor, I am simply a consumer asking a question. Please don't close this question as too localized, as it applies to the majority of SU users and "too localized" is a silly concept for this site anyway, given that a particular question can be localized to the .001% of users who happen to have the same obscure hardware, software, and bug as the asker. This site is about people helping people, not flexing one's muscles by closing a question. I expect there will be < 10 worthwhile answers to this query and that it will help a great number of people). – dggoldst Nov 17 at 16:25

The question is an remains too localized. This is a discussion, and this is not a discussion forum. Closing as duplicate. In future, please don't post the same question twice. There is no one correct answer to this question. – Diago Nov 17 at 16:50

These are the top two places I recommend for some pre-built systems online. I am not sure what level of "pre-built" or customization you are wanting, but these are great places to check out what is out there. Barebones systems are great if you want a core system to maybe add ram or the video card you want and the OS you want to install. Some are just cpu/mb/case and others are full setups with no OS installed.

Online references are going to be the best answers for a question like this on SU. Things get a little too localized when we start talking non large commercial brick and mortor operations.

Personally, I like Puget Custom Computers. I have bought 3 computers from them now, and they have all worked great. They will overclock your system at the factory if you ask, and they run temperature, stability, and performance bench marks before sending the box. They will install any part you ask for.
