In the process of rebuilding my XP desktop machine.

Quick question just to confirm my plan will work out fine.

It has 2 HD's. I want to wipe the first, reinstall windows on it, then clean the 2nd HD from the fresh install.

So all I have to do is: 1) insert install disc, boot 2) choose partition i am talking about (i.e. first HD) 3) format and install on it 4) boot, 2nd hd will load - unchanged.

All good? / Better way to do it?

Cheers!

if all you want to do is reinstall windows on one hard drive and deletes its contents then that is PERFECT. AS for the second drive. it will be as you left it unchanged and you can do anything you please with it.

good luck.
