When I click properties on the C Drive, Tools Tab, and click on Optimize there are 2 disk drives that I have no idea what they are and have weird labels:

PBR Image

\?\Volume{0751dfbd-7f5b-4c9e-bd67-be1afc39e8ca}\

I'm also getting the event 257 The volume OS (C:) was not optimized because an error was encountered: The parameter is incorrect. (0x80070057)

I've been doing some reading around the web and it appears the weird hard disk "names" may have something to do with the error message (event 257). My C drive shows as needing optimization, but it never completes the task due to the error message. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone know what these volumes are and what I need to do about them. I just did a bunch of driver updates from Dell (XPS 2710)...and as expected everything is going wrong with my system now. I was having the problem above before all my updates however. Guess I'm doing a restore, because updating everything Dell told me to update has majorly screwed things up. If anyone has any insight on updating dell drivers, I'd love to know...thanks!
