Super User is a question and answer site for computer enthusiasts and power users. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have a link that opens on a new tab/window, e.g.:

<a href="http://www.example.com" target="_blank">some Link</a>

I use Chrome's Web Inspector to monitor and investigate HTTP requests.

The problem with above link is that once I click it, a new Chrome window opens, with Web Inspector not opened yet. When Web Inspector isn't open from the beginning, it won't monitor those HTTP requests until it has been opened.

Is there a way to have a target="_blank" link open with Web Inspector active from the beginning?
