I've been trying to connect my pc to my wireless printer. My pc has no WiFi card so I use my phone by connecting it by USB and going into setting, more networks, Tethering and portable hotspot then selecting USB tethering. On my pc at the bottom right the network icon says when I hover over it: Network 10 (I presume this is the phone USB PC one) internet access. Underneath it says: Network No internet access. I'm on windows 8(.1 if it matters). There are currently other networks set-up but when my PC searches for them I can't find them. When I try to add a device in control panel nothing shows up. The printer is an Epson WF-2530 and works with other PCs and is connected to our WiFi.

If you need any other details please ask and thanks in advance.

Are you trying to use your PC to control your phone's wifi? What's the relevance of the printer? – cpast Mar 14 '14 at 19:50
@cpast I use my phone in order to access internet on my pc which works. I want to connect it to a wireless printer but cannot – userX Mar 14 '14 at 20:00
Is your PC connected directly to your network, then? If it has no wifi card, does that mean it's connected to the network with Ethernet? – cpast Mar 14 '14 at 20:01
@cpast No. How I access internet on my pc is by tethering it to my phone. My phone picks up the internet and a usb from the phone to the PC allows me to use internet on my PC. Not Ethernet cables or anything. – userX Mar 14 '14 at 22:41
Are you sure the phone's tethering you through your wifi, and not using its 3G connection? – cpast Mar 14 '14 at 23:14
