I have a D-Link Dl-514 wireless router connected as a switch (it can't be accessed through a web browser, it doesn't have an IP address, and so on). Three devices connect to it via Ethernet and it also serves as a wireless access point. Often (at least once a week) the access point crashes - the switch stops providing wifi, but all the Ethernet devices continue to have normal network access. After I restart the switch (unplug and plug in power) the wifi is restored and it behaves normally again, until it crashes a few days later. Do you think it's just a bad switch or could it be something else? I don't think it is overheating.
